Remy is the heartbeat of The Coastal Pet — a big personality stuffed into an even bigger enthusiasm for life. Always in a good mood, always ready for whatever comes next, and absolutely convinced that every walk is the greatest walk that has ever happened in the history of walks.

Remy loves the cats with his whole entire heart. The cats are still warming up to that idea.

Whether he's leading the charge on a new trail or just living his best life at full volume, Remy approaches everything the way we think everyone should approach a beach trip — with zero hesitation and maximum joy.

Don't let the resting beach face fool you.

Stella may approach life with the quiet intensity of someone who has seen things and has opinions about them, but underneath that sleek black fur and skeptical expression lives a cat who absolutely loses her mind for treats and will tolerate — even enjoy — a good petting session when she decides the time is right.

Keyword: when she decides.

Food motivated, fiercely independent and deeply misunderstood, Stella is the kind of travel companion who will judge every destination silently but show up anyway because she heard there might be snacks.

We think she's going to love the beach. She has not confirmed this.

Phoebe - Her Royal Highness, Queen of the Coast

Phoebe would like you to know that she did not ask for any of this.

A vision in tortoiseshell with the kind of flowing, luxurious fur that makes strangers stop and stare, Phoebe has built a life of exquisite comfort around three non negotiable pillars — warmth, quiet and a good lap. Preferably all three simultaneously.

She loves her home. She loves her routine. She loves food with a passion that rivals her love of being absolutely stationary on something soft.

The beach was not on her agenda.

And yet here we are — because nobody gets left behind at The Coastal Pet, not even the ones who would very much prefer to stay on the couch with a snack and zero sand anywhere near their magnificent fur.

Phoebe's beach travel journey will be -- let's call it -- a character arc. We're rooting for her. She is not rooting for us.

Slim Shady arrived young, arrived loud and has been absolutely certain about everything ever since. Playful, fearless and perpetually ready for whatever comes next, Slim is the cat who looked at a cat backpack and thought — yes, actually, this works for me.

While his fellow felines are still processing the concept of leaving the house, Slim is already logging miles, surveying the world from his backpack like the tiny adventurous CEO he is and preparing for his next mission.

Harness training is underway. The beach doesn't know what's coming.

Slim Shady is proof that some cats are just built different — and we have a feeling he's going to take to coastal travel like he was born for it. Which, honestly, he probably was.

Remy already considers him his best friend. The feeling appears to be mutual. Phoebe has no comment.
